Lets talk about candle care!
- After you have burned the candle, the wax may cool down to a rough surface. That is perfectly normal! That is a feature of natural wax.
- Wax frosting is a natural occurrence where a whitish, crystalline coating appears on the side of the candle jar. It may not look pretty. but it is nothing to worry about.
- Trim the wick to 1/4" tall before relighting your candle to keep a clean burn and wax clean
- Allow enough time for the candle to melt completely to the edges of the container to prevent "tunneling".
- Place the candle on a heat resistant stable surface away from flammable objects before burning.
- Keep candles out of children and pets reach
- Never leave a burning candle unattended; be sure to blow out the candle before leaving the room.
- Avoid burning your candle for more than 3-4 hours in one burn.
- If the wax sticks to the glass and starts tunneling, a good trick is to put aluminum foil around the outside on the glass of the candle and light the candle and the wax will melt down slowly.
