Hi, I'm Kayce.

I'm the founder of Oliver & Company Candles—and the girl everyone knows as "the one with too many animals." Honestly, they're probably right but I need more.

Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to own a business. Whether I was selling mud pies in the backyard or organizing little fundraisers and charity sales at school, I loved creating something and sharing it with others.

For years, I couldn't figure out what kind of business I wanted to build. Then I discovered candle making, and everything clicked.

I've always loved creating things with my hands, and with a house full of animals, I also know that keeping your home smelling fresh can be a challenge. The problem was that so many home fragrance products contain unnecessary toxins that I didn't feel comfortable using around the pets I love. So I set out to create products that help your home smell amazing while using thoughtfully chosen ingredients that I feel good about bringing into my own home.

But this business is about so much more than candles.

Oliver & Company Candles was created in honor of my special needs dog, Oliver. In 2021, during one of the darkest seasons of my life, Oliver gave me something I desperately needed: purpose. Taking him in changed everything. Caring for him reminded me that I still had something worth fighting for, and because of him, I found hope again.

That experience inspired the mission behind this company. I believe that when you save an animal, you can also change a person's life. Every rescue has the chance to become someone's best friend, source of comfort, or reason to keep going—just like Oliver became mine.

That's why a portion of every purchase helps support special needs animal rescues. My hope is that together we can give more animals a second chance and, in turn, help create more stories like ours.
